Detailed Itinerary of Premium SF Tour

Start At: The Ferry Building

Our tours start at Pier 1, right of the the Ferry Building. Meet inside Starbucks. The Ferry Building is famous for the farmers market marketplace hall. Great for oysters, lobster sandwiches and the best spring rolls in California.

Lombard Street

We are the only city tour that lets you walk down Lombard Street – the street with 8 hairpin turns. Our luxury bus is small enough to actually drive down Lombard Street or we can let you out of the bus so you can walk down the stairs next to the street so you can take your time enjoying this stop.

See many authentic grocery shops and historic sites.

Cable Car Barn Museum / 1906 Earthquake Exhibition

We are the only Tour Company that visits this amazing stop. The Cable Car Barn Museum is an actual working/functional facility that currently controls all of the functionality of today’s cable cars.

Grace Cathedral / Nob Hill

Modeled after the great Gothic cathedrals in Europe and is a site rarely seen in America. We will go inside to view the inside of the famous San Francisco church that sits atop the Nob Hill neighborhood.

City Hall Building

Built in less than three years, the Beaux Arts masterpiece endures as one of the greatest city buildings in the country. It is beautiful but also practical, remaining functional after countless social and technological revolutions, “a triumph of Renaissance styles”

Alamo Square Park / Famous Victorian Homes

The park is an incredibly popular place because it is home of those famous Victorian Homes known as Postcard Row. Your Tour Guide will tell you about the history of Alamo Square Park. Given our small vehicle size, we are allowed to drive through the park, drop you off in the park and not have to deal with red tape that the large double decker buses have to deal with.

Golden Gate Park / Japanese Tea Garden / DeYoung Meseum Lookout Tower

The Japanese Tea Garden in Golden Gate Park is the big draw of this tour stop. While there is a small fee to get into the Tea Garden, it's well worth it and we highly recommend it and hope all of our customers partake in this stop. For those that don't want to go to the Tea Garden, we will escort you into the DeYoung Museum Lookout tower, which is complimentary, and gives you elevator access to see Golden Gate Park from a high lookout point.

Golden Gate Bridge (Drive-Over) / Vista Point Tour Stop

We will drive over the Golden Gate Bridge on this San Francisco tour, stopping for pictures and allowing you to walk around the vista points of the city’s most treasured landmark. We will also provide you amazing detailed historical narrative about the construction process of the bridge.

Sausalito - Small Mediterranean Town (Majestic Views of San Francisco)

This little seaside town in Marin has unbelievable scenery and a climate that is usually 15 degrees warmer than San Francisco at all times. This laid-back Mediterranean town is home to Californias most expensive homes. Explore the area by foot, shop, sit, eat and drink by the Bay – Sausalito has it all.

Ferry / Bay Cruise

We take the Sausalito Ferry to or from Sausalito or San Francisco depending on the tour time you select. The 9am and 10am tours will end the luxury bus portion of the tour in Sausalito and will take the Ferry back from Sausalito to San Francisco Ferry Building (Tour start location). The 11:15am/11:45am tours will take the ferry from the Ferry Building to Sausalito, grab lunch and then start the bus tour portion of the tour from Sausalito. This ferry is a smooth riding ferry with no concerns of getting seasick.

NOTE: Itinerary is subject to change. Most notably for changes during the tour to avoid traffic and keep tour on-time. If we skip a stop, we will replace the missed stop with Baker Beach picture stop that allows you to see the Golden Gate Bridge from another majestic vantage point. Our itinerary goal is to maintain the best experience. Avoiding traffic and road closures and smart substitutions is the key to our success.
